About the Author

Ross Halfin is one of the top music photographers in the world today. After starting with Sounds magazine in England in the late 70s, he helped launch Kerrang! In addition to Metallica, he has been closely associated with a number of top metal acts including Def Leppard, Ozzy Osbourne, and Plant & Page. Originally from Denmark, he is now based in the UK.
