BOG was recorded at Orange Studios and Thanos Studios. Erick Martinez was again the sound engineer responsible for mixing and mastering the new album. The first single of the new album, “Resurrected”, is already available on streaming services and a video clip is also on youtube. The amazing art is again a creation of the Mexican dark artist Nestor Avalos with the inputs and ideas of Andres based on several of the Lyrics of the album. The whole album will be available sometime 2026 on vinyl and streaming services.
Songs of the new album are completed and recorded after almost 3 years of creating and recording the music. The new album will be titled ‘Blueprint of God’, containing ten tracks. The new music of Cabrio is violent technical Thrash Metal mixing old school sounds and modern metal influences. BOG is adding new aspects and elements to music including more progressive, even symphonic elements and some very doomy sections. Lyrically, the new album presents dark reflections about viral threats to mankind, some inspiration from John Carpenter, H.P. Lovecraft and others, thoughts about the blinding arrogance that will lead mankind to damnation and the end of the human race as we know it. ‘2021' is the only song made in Spanish that talks about the terrible effects of isolation during a pandemic, the tragic loss of close friends, sad angels and broken hearts. In many ways, these lyrics reflect the personal experiences of the members of the Band during those years. As a perfect companion and a lyrical extension of “2021”, the album is including ‘Drowning in my own Fears’, featuring Rod Leiva leading the vocals and a very special collaboration with the amazing Anneke van Giersbergen. Musically, ‘Drowning in my own fears’ is leaning to a very dark and depressive side, comparing it to the thrash-driven sound of the album, adding a gloomy note to it.
