2007 collection of tracks by the Australian artist best known as the stunning vocalist in Dead Can Dance. Features a total of 15 tracks taken from her solo releases for the 4AD label as well as cuts from the Dead Can Dance back catalog and her various soundtrack work. Gerrard gained fame with DCD, who formed in 1981. She continued to record as one half of this dark duo up until their final album in 1996. During her last years with the band, she began working on her debut solo album, which was released in 1995. Since then, she's released a series of critically-acclaimed albums and soundtracks (including Whale Rider). Includes 'Cantara', 'Persephone', 'See the Sun', 'Elysium', 'Sacrifice' and more. 4AD.
